Get to know the Role:

Border Express is busy and growing, and we’re looking for a solid MR Delivery Drivers to join our Gold Coast team at Arundel.

We’ve got Full Time roles available, Monday to Friday, doing local metro pickups and deliveries. If you know express freight and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

These positions play an integral part in the protected, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am starts (approx)

Duties:

- Local PUD work across the Gold Coast metro area

- Parcel and Bulk runs available (multi drops)

- Driving tautliners and rigid trucks, pulling curtains and lifting gates and restraints where applicable

- Securing loads properly every time

- Completing PODs using PDA Scanners

- Doing pre start checks and keeping your truck in good condition

- Working with the depot team to keep freight moving safely and on time

- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation

- Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations

Skills and Experience:

- Must hold an MR licence as a minimum. (Auto is ok)

- Minimum 2 years of MR driving experience

- Great local knowledge of Gold Coast and surrounding areas

- Experience in multi drops essential with potential for hand unloads as required
