Based in Balcatta, our client is a Western Australian-owned and operated multi-disciplinary engineering contractor, specialising in water infrastructure. They excel in electrical and controls design, switchboard manufacturing, control/SCADA systems, and electrical installations.

This senior role drives the full project lifecycle : From concept and detailed design through to construction support and commissioning. You’ll be working with a great team and have the opportunity to utilise your mentoring and management skills to take them to the next level. This is a fantastic opportunity for not just an experienced Electrical Engineer, but also for a passionate manager and innovator.

Key Responsibilities of this varied and rewarding role include :

- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering professional development.

- Undertake the role of Design Manager, reviewing design outputs for conformity to customer requirements, standards, time, and cost constraints.

- Mentor, coach, and produce design guides and technical notes to allow team members to leverage expertise.





- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, ensuring budgets and schedules are met.

- Provide technical leadership to the electrical team to deliver high-quality designs and ensure client satisfaction.

To really excel in this role, you’ll require :

- A degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia

- Advanced communication, interpersonal and team buiding skills.
