We currently have an opportunity for a friendly and compassionate part-time Home Care Cleaner to join our Community team.

Reporting to the Home Care - Team Leader, the primary purpose of the Home Care Cleaner is to support community clients to maintain cleanliness in their homes in line with community care expectations. This will contribute to positive client outcomes through aligning with Barossa Village's purpose and values. Creating 'More Good Days'.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of floors, vacuuming, spot cleaning, dusting, cleaning general furniture, handrails and ledges, cleaning of all bathrooms and other spaces as directed.

- Effective time management and organisational skills in order to complete required cleaning duties and delegated tasks.

- Ensure cleaning schedules are followed on a daily basis or as required.

- Reporting any changes you may observe whilst with the client, or maintenance required within the home.

To be successful you will need:

- High attention to detail when maintaining cleanliness of floors, walls, surfaces, and bathrooms,



carpet cleaning and other spaces as directed.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with the Home Care Team Leader, Care Coordinators/Schedulers, Management, Residents, and Clients.

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work effectively unsupervised.

- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to actively listen and follow through on commitments to Care Recipients and maintain a long-term focus on retaining Care Recipients.

- Police Check/Clearance not older than 12 months at appointment

- Chemical Handling training is desirable

- Experience working in an Aged Care or Hotel Facility is desirable
