The Opportunity

We’re building our asset management team and have several opportunities coming up for experienced Asset Management Leads with strong SAP capability and a fixed plant background. If the timing isn’t right for you today, we’d still like to hear from you.

This is a client-facing consulting role, not a permanent site position. Our immediate focus is international work, so you’ll be stepping into interim leadership and improvement roles at client operations overseas, as well as across Australia.

Assignments typically run from [3–12 months], on either a rotational or residential basis depending on the client and location. For international placements, we look after [flights, accommodation and visa support], so you can focus on the work.

It suits an experienced Maintenance Superintendent or Asset Management Lead from concentrators, crushing and grinding circuits, flotation, smelters, refineries or hydromet operations who’s ready to take that experience into a consulting setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Stepping into interim Asset Management Lead (or equivalent) roles at client sites, in Australia and internationally
- Diagnosing asset management and maintenance performance issues across fixed plant, including reliability, planning and scheduling, and maintenance strategy gaps
- Reviewing and improving how clients use SAP PM,



from work order management and maintenance plans through to master data, task lists and reporting
- Supporting the design and rollout of maintenance strategies, reliability programs and asset management improvement initiatives
- Advising on maintenance leadership development and supervisory capability
- Leading or supporting operating model reviews, including owner-operator versus contracted maintenance models
- Building solid relationships with stakeholders from site maintenance teams through to corporate and executive leadership
- Preparing client-ready reports and recommendations that turn site-level findings into practical improvement plans

What We’re Looking For

- Superintendent-level experience (or equivalent) in fixed plant maintenance across processing, smelting, refining or heavy industry
- Strong, hands-on SAP PM experience. Exposure to SAP implementations, optimisation or master data clean-ups is highly regarded
- Solid generalist capability across maintenance strategy, reliability, planning and scheduling, and shutdown management
- Availability and willingness to travel internationally for extended assignments, with a current passport
- Comfortable stepping in as an external advisor and building credibility quickly
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence senior leaders
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously across concurrent engagements
