Join the Hilly’s team!

Hilly’s Construction & Maintenance is looking for experienced ceiling fixers / wall and ceiling liners to join our growing team full time.

We’re a close-knit WA business that values our workers and treats them like family. We take our work seriously, look out for each other and enjoy a joke and a laugh along the way. If you take pride in your trade and want to be part of a team where your contribution matters, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

You’ll work across commercial fit-outs, residential projects and occasional mining, defence and remote projects.

Your duties will include:

• Installing steel stud wall framing, ceiling battens and suspended ceiling systems.
• Fixing plasterboard to walls, ceilings and bulkheads.
• Installing suspended grid ceilings and ceiling tiles.
• Flushing, setting, sanding and cornice installation.
• Completing ceiling repairs, replacements and general wall and ceiling works.
• Reading plans and maintaining a safe, tidy worksite.

Most work is across the Perth metro area. Occasional FIFO and remote work is a required part of the position, so you must be willing and available to travel when needed.

About you

We’re looking for someone reliable, practical and easy to work with, who brings:

• Experience in framing, fixing, flushing and cornicing.

• Pride in their workmanship and good attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and support their teammates.
• Clear communication and respect for clients and colleagues.
• A current manual driver’s licence, your own reliable vehicle and tools, and a Construction White Card.

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening and a police check to meet site access requirements.

A Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining is preferred and highly regarded, but not essential if you have solid practical experience.

What we offer

• A full time position with a growing WA business.
• Pay based on your experience and skills.
• Work vehicle negotiable based on experience after probationary period.
• A fuel card provided.
• Variety across local and remote projects.
• A supportive team that values your work and treats you with respect.
• A professional workplace where we enjoy a laugh while getting the job done.
