About the role

McPhail's is seeking a Retail and Online Sales Specialist to join our team in Wangaratta VIC. Part-Time and Casual positions available that offer fantastic opportunities to be at the heart of our retail operations, bridging the gap between our physical store and online presence. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences across both channels, contributing directly to the growth and success of our business.

Role located in Wangaratta.

What you'll be doing

- Provide outstanding customer service to shoppers visiting our Wangaratta store, assisting with product selection and answering enquiries

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

- Support online purchasers with any queries they may have and help put through payments

- Assist with merchandise displays and visual merchandising to create an inviting store environment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and meet sales targets

What we're looking for

- Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers

- Basic proficiency with technology and comfort learning new point-of-sale and online systems

- A genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly within rostered hours

- Organisational skills and attention to detail when handling transactions and inventory

- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and contributing to team goals





- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items of moderate weight

- Willingness to support both in-store and online operations as needed
