PPM Global is urgently seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated Labourer to join our team for an immediate start in Texas, Queensland.

PPM Global is looking for a practical, hands-on individual who enjoys working outdoors, isn't afraid of physical work and takes pride in getting the job done.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster (12-hour shifts), you'll be part of a small, supportive site team assisting with general labouring, maintenance and operational activities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Assisting mechanical fitters, tradespeople and maintenance personnel with daily maintenance activities.

- Supporting the installation, relocation and maintenance of pumps, hoses and associated water management equipment.

- Assisting with generator setup, operation and basic servicing requirements.

- Undertaking general labouring duties across the mine site and operational areas.

- Supporting routine equipment inspections, greasing, lubrication and preventative maintenance activities.

- Assisting with the movement, handling and preparation of tools, equipment and materials.

- General workshop duties, cleaning, organisation and housekeeping.

- Maintaining site infrastructure, work areas and operational facilities.

- Assisting with basic mechanical tasks under the direction of experienced personnel.

- Supporting general site upkeep, including cleaning, waste management and maintaining safe access areas.





- Identifying and reporting equipment faults, maintenance issues and potential safety hazards.

- Assisting the wider operations team with other duties as required.

This is a genuine hands-on role. You'll be working outdoors, supporting different areas of the operation and developing practical skills along the way.

Training and guidance will be provided, with opportunities to gain additional tickets and qualifications as you progress.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and genuinely interested in becoming part of our mining operations team.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- A strong work ethic, reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.

- A willingness to undertake physically demanding work in an outdoor environment.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools.

- An interest in machinery, pumps, generators and general maintenance activities.

- The ability to follow instructions and work safely with minimal supervision.

- A willingness to learn new skills and assist wherever required.

- A commitment to workplace health and safety.

- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a small team.

- A current driver's licence.

- Reliable transport to travel to and from the mine site.

- Availability to commence employment immediately or at short notice.

Previous experience in mining, farming, agriculture, construction, mechanical maintenance or general labouring will be highly regarded but is not essential.
