About the role

We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused people to join our casual Food & Beverage team across The Boat Mindarie, Indian Ocean Brewing Co and Taverna Mindarie in Mindarie WA 6030. You’ll deliver excellent service to guests, whether they’re dining, enjoying a drink or simply soaking up the marina. Every guest should leave with a great experience.

Key responsibilities

- Providing friendly, efficient and professional service at the bar and dining areas

- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and delivering them promptly

- Preparing and serving hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

- Keeping service areas, tables, bar counters and facilities clean and tidy





- Processing cash and card payments accurately

- Supporting the kitchen and bar teams during service

- Responding to guest enquiries with courtesy and professionalism

- Following food safety, hygiene and venue policies

- Assisting with setup and pack-down of service areas

- Working as a team to create a welcoming atmosphere

What we’re looking for

- Hospitality, bar or food service experience (advantageous but not essential)

- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for guest experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- A positive attitude, reliability and availability for weekends and public holidays

- Willingness to learn new procedures and systems

- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely

- A current RSA, or willingness to obtain one

- Food handling knowledge or certification (desirable)

- Attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and safety standards
