Mardie
As the Lead/Superintendent Environment, you'll play a key leadership role at BCI Minerals' Mardie Operation, driving environmental performance across our Operation and ensuring we deliver outcomes safely, responsibly and in line with our environmental approvals and commitments.
Working closely with site leadership, Perth-based teams, contractors, regulators and consultants, you'll lead the implementation and continual improvement of environmental management systems, monitoring and compliance programs, regulatory commitments, rehabilitation and sustainability initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help shape how environmental considerations are embedded into day-to-day decision-making, while playing a critical role in maintaining BCI's social licence to operate.
You'll also lead and mentor the Senior Environment Advisor and Environmental Field Technician, building capability within the team and driving a proactive, high-performing environmental culture.
The Company
BCI Minerals is a values-driven company developing sustainable minerals for the modern world.
We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.
Mardie will be the largest salt operation in Australia and the third largest globally. With first salt on ship on track to be achieved early 2027, BCI Minerals is just at the beginning of its journey to become a key player in a multitude of globally significant sustainable opportunities.
Our values are the foundation of our success. They reflect our commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture driven by our people's collective efforts and unique strengths. They guide us in achieving our strategic goals and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.

You'll also provide practical environmental advice across site, contribute to toolbox talks and reporting, and ensure environmental data, records and reporting systems are maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and managing environmental risks and opportunities, supporting rehabilitation planning and implementation, and continually improving environmental processes, procedures and performance.
