Omada Resources is seeking an experienced Open Pit Scheduling & Mine Planning Engineer for an immediate-start contract.

About the role

This is a hands-on role focused on short- and medium-term open pit scheduling and mine planning. You will work closely with operations, geology and technical services to develop practical, achievable plans that support protected and efficient gold production.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain short- and medium-term open pit mine plans and production schedules.

- Produce forecasts, planning reports and schedule updates.

- Work collaboratively with operations, geology and technical services to optimise mine performance.

- Monitor plan compliance and identify practical improvement opportunities.

- Support daily, weekly and monthly planning requirements.

About you

- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.

- Demonstrated open pit scheduling and mine planning experience.

- Strong short- and medium-term mine planning and scheduling capability.





- Experience using Alastri Production Scheduler will be highly regarded.

- Gold mining experience is preferred.

- A practical, collaborative approach and the ability to hit the ground running.
