Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) is transitioning from explorer to producer and our Youanmi Gold Project is gaining attention as one of Western Australia’s emerging high-grade gold developments.

The Project is advancing rapidly following completion of our Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), successful equity funding and first underground portal fired in late 2025. Youanmi is fully funded through to production, with first gold to be poured in mid-2027.

Reporting to the Underground Manager, the Senior Mining Engineer is responsible for delivering high‑quality mine planning, design, LOM infrastructure planning, scheduling, and engineering support on site whilst leading Engineering activities to help shape the future of our Youanmi Gold Mine.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Mining Engineer will work on an 8:6 roster at our Youanmi mine site, located approximately 480 km northeast of Perth, Western Australia. In addition you will:

- Develop and maintain short‑, medium‑ and long‑term underground mine plans and schedules.

- Prepare detailed mine designs including stopes, development layouts, ventilation infrastructure, mine access and associated planning documentation.

- Contribute to Life of Mine (LOM) planning, reserve and resource evaluations.

- Provide engineering support to ensure safe and efficient mining execution, including collaboration with geology and survey teams for ore recovery and dilution control.

- Undertake and lead optimisation studies to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance mine performance.

- Prepare and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly production schedules and track performance against plan.

- Troubleshoot operational issues relating to ground conditions, drilling, blasting, and productivity constraints.

- Participate in risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations,



ensuring designs comply with WA mining legislation and site safety systems.

- Assist with the preparation of annual mining budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and technical reporting.

- Lead, mentor and develop Mining Engineers and Graduate Engineers, fostering capability across the team.

MUST HAVE

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum 5+ years of underground mining experience.

- Proficient in underground mine planning and scheduling software (e.g., Deswik CAD, Deswik Sched).

- Significant experience in LOM Infrastructure planning (incl dewatering, ventilation, HV)

- Robust understanding of underground mining methods, including longhole open stoping, paste fill / cemented fill and development mining

- Demonstrated planning, analytical, and problem‑solving capability.

- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.

- Leadership qualities with a collaborative, team‑focused approach.

- High level of safety awareness and commitment to risk management.

- Current WA C‑Class Driver’s Licence.
