Airswift is currently partnering with a well-established engineering company to source an experienced Boilermaker Welder Leading Hand for a major project based in Henderson, WA.

This is an excellent chance for a hands-on leader who can supervise a team while remaining actively involved in workshop and fabrication activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating works, maintaining safety standards, and driving productivity across a fast-paced project environment.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading and coordinating a team of Boilermakers and Welders

- Supervising fabrication, welding, repair and assembly activities

- Performing hands-on welding and fabrication duties when required

- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards

- Monitoring productivity and supporting project milestones

- Coordinating with supervisors, planners and other trades on site

- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site procedures

- Supporting marine and heavy engineering works across the workshop

What you'll need:

- Trade qualification

- Proven experience in a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Senior Boilermaker role

- Strong Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick welding experience

- Experience working with carbon steel structures and fabrication





- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams

- White Card

- Working at Heights

- Confined Space

- Current driver's licence

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Highly regarded:

- Fire Sentry

- Marine, shipbuilding or defence industry experience

- Experience delivering shutdown, fabrication or construction projects

- Forklift, Dogging or Rigging tickets
