About the Company
Our client is a well-established, purpose-driven organisation with a strong national presence and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community. With an extensive digital footprint and a large, content-rich website, they are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to provide hands-on technical and operational support to their marketing function.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day management and maintenance of a large-scale website.
This is a hands-on digital role focused on website functionality, content accuracy, analytics and technical coordination rather than traditional marketing campaign management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing website content updates, page maintenance and copy changes through the Kentico Content Management System (CMS).
- Coordinating and completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for regular website updates and deployments.
- Working closely with internal IT teams and external digital agencies to identify, troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Maintaining and monitoring website analytics through Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Reviewing website tracking and tags through Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data collection.
- Ensuring website content, functionality and tracking remain accurate across a large and complex digital environment.
- Supporting ongoing website improvements and technical digital marketing priorities.
About You
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically confident Digital Marketing Specialist who can quickly take ownership of an established digital workplace.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a similar digital marketing or website management role.
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Strong experience working with Content Management Systems, ideally Kentico or a comparable enterprise CMS.
- Practical experience with website testing, UAT and coordinating technical updates.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify website errors, inconsistencies and tracking issues.
- Confidence working with technical stakeholders, IT teams and external agencies.
- Experience within a large or complex organisation will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and deliver with minimal supervision.
No coding experience is required; however, a strong understanding of website functionality and digital platforms is essential.
The Benefits
- Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend.
- Immediate start available.
- Hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the Brisbane office and 3 days working remotely.
- Flexibility to consider candidates seeking 3 to 4 days per week.
- Opportunity to manage a large-scale website within an established national organisation.
- Collaborative working environment with direct access to senior marketing leadership.
