About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Store Manager to lead our Vic’s Meat Chatswood store.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong retail leader who is passionate about premium food, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving store performance.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, leading and developing your team, managing financial performance and maintaining the high standards Vic’s Meat is known for.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership of their store and is confident making decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service.

- Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring the store runs efficiently and professionally.

- Drive sales performance, achieve targets and identify opportunities for growth.

- Manage staffing, rostering and wage costs in line with business requirements.





- Maintain high standards of product presentation, merchandising and store cleanliness.

- Oversee stock management, ordering, inventory control and waste reduction.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and company policies.

- Train and develop team members, building a positive and accountable team culture.

- Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.

- Work closely with senior management to implement business initiatives and improve store performance.

About You

- Proven experience in a Store Manager or senior retail leadership position.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and hold a team accountable.

- Experience managing sales targets, wages, stock and operational costs.

- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, premium retail environment.

- Experience in food retail, fresh food, hospitality or premium retail is highly regarded.

- A genuine interest in food, quality products and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Previous butchery experience is not essential, however an appreciation for premium meat and a willingness to develop strong product knowledge is important.
