About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Graduate to join our high-performing Professional and Financial Risks team in our Sydney office. We are seeking a motivated individual who has gained experience as a paralegal, law clerk or graduate and is interested in developing a career in insurance litigation.

This role will allow you to work alongside experienced practitioners on a broad range of insurance law and litigation matters, with a focus on public and product liability insurance and professional indemnity. You will work across different industry sectors, with a particular focus on the strata, sports, leisure and construction industries sectors.

Working closely with partners, senior lawyers and the wider team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to complex matters from an early stage of your career and gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, client communication and matter management.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Completed a recognised undergraduate or post-graduate degree in law in Australia within the last 2 years, and have completed or be willing to complete your Practical Legal Training (PLT)
- A genuine interest in insurance and professional indemnity




- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Capacity to problem solve and think laterally
- Firmly established time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A sharp eye for detail and strong writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy
- A outstanding work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career
