We are delighted to assist Myer as they seek the next passionate representatives of Guerlain.

You will join the team at the brand new Guerlain counter in Myer Sydney City’s stunning new beauty hall.

We have the following permanent part-time opportunities available:

- Counter Manager (35 hours per week), you will have a background in either or both Makeup Artistry or Beauty Therapy
- Second-in-Charge (2IC, 30 hours per week), ideally you will have a background in Beauty Therapy however those with Makeup Artistry will be considered
- Makeup Artists / Beauty Consultants (20 hours per week), a background in Makeup Artistry is a must have.

The Roles

Counter Manager

- Take ownership of counter sales targets and KPIs; analyse performance and implement action plans;
- Lead, coach and develop the team; grow clienteling and event sales; and maintain Guerlain’s luxury service, merchandising, hygiene, and stock standards.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to grow the business.
- Coach team members on product knowledge, customer service and effective selling techniques.
- Develop client relationships through appointments, personalised follow-ups and clienteling.
- Oversee daily counter operations, stock management and presentation standards.




- Build strong working relationships with Myer management and the wider store team.
- Provide exceptional service to your clientele as either a Makeup Artist or Beauty Therapist based on your skills and experience.

2IC / Beauty Therapist Preference

- Support the Counter Manager in achieving sales targets and coaching the team.
- Lead the counter in the Manager’s absence, maintain daily operational standards and help deliver clienteling, events and brand initiatives.
- Your skills as a Beauty Therapist and/or Makeup Artist will be applied daily as you provide customised consultations to your clientele.

Makeup Artist / Beauty Consultant Preference

- As a Makeup Artist, you will apply proven techniques to customer consultations, showcasing the gorgeous brand offering, whilst cross selling the exquisite skin care and fragrance range.

About You

You are a confident, customer-focused beauty professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced department store environment and has a genuine passion for luxury brands.

You are a passionate, driven, self-starter who brings:

- Previous experience in skin care, beauty therapy or makeup artistry
- Retail experience, ideally within a department store environment.




- A passion for luxury beauty and an understanding of prestige customer service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- A sales-driven mindset, with the motivation to achieve targets and deliver results.
- A polished and professional presentation, with enthusiasm for representing Dolce & Gabbana Beauty.
- Flexibility to work across Myer’s trading hours, including weekends, late-night trading and public holidays.

Beauty Therapist applicants must provide copies of relevant beauty therapy qualifications and certifications required for the treatments offered.

Makeup Artist applicants should provide copies of relevant makeup artistry qualifications or certifications, where held; a portfolio is encouraged.
