Maintenance Fitter

TRS is seeking a Maintenance Fitter on behalf of its client. This is a 26-week contract, a temp-to-perm position

The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with injection moulding and plastic extrusion machinery, along with robust mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on injection moulding and extrusion equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
Carry out machining, fitting and general mechanical repairs.
Troubleshoot machinery issues to minimise production downtime.
Assist with equipment installations and improvements.
Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings.
Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience
