Our client is a leading custom steel fabrication business with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation. Based in Ballarat and operating from a purpose-built manufacturing facility, they provide tailored fabrication solutions to customers across a range of industries.

About the role:
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Fabricate and assemble custom steel and metal products
Complete MIG welding across a range of materials
Manufacture structural steelwork, machinery and bespoke fabrication projects
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
Undertake repairs, modifications and site installation work as required
Deliver quality work with a solid focus on accuracy and attention to detail

What we're looking for:
1+ years proven experience in metal fabrication is highly regarded




Relevant Australian trade qualifications are essential
Confidence working from plans and drawings with minimal supervision is highly desirable, but training can be provided for the right person
Practical approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues
Solid communication skills and a team-focused attitude
