We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee a key commercial cleaning portfolio in Rockhampton.This role will be responsible for managing 35 important sites with approximately 30 staff in total, ensuring cleaning standards, contractual KPIs, client expectations, staff performance, WHS requirements and daily operational outcomes are consistently achieved.This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with strong commercial cleaning experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership of important client sites.About the RoleAs Area Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of cleaning operations across your portfolio.
You will work closely with clients, site teams and internal management to ensure the sites are well presented, fully staffed, compliant and performing to agreed service levels.You will be expected to regularly attend sites, support and guide cleaning teams, resolve operational issues, monitor standards and ensure all contractual requirements are met.Key ResponsibilitiesManage cleaning operations across 30+ key commercial sites in RockhamptonLead, support and manage approximately 30 cleaning staffEnsure cleaning standards are consistently maintained across all sitesMonitor and achieve contractual KPIs and service level requirementsConduct regular site inspections, audits and quality checks using QuayCleanAppLiaise with clients and respond promptly to requests, concerns and feedbackManage rosters, attendance, leave coverage and site staffing requirementsSupport recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of site staffEnsure staff understand their duties, scopes of work and site expectationsManage cleaning supplies,



equipment and consumables across the portfolioIdentify and resolve service issues before they escalatedEnsure compliance with WHS, safe work procedures and company policiesMaintain accurate records, reports, communications and operational updatesBuild solid working relationships with both clients and cleaning teamsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have proven experience managing commercial cleaning operations and staff.
