You'll explore new data sources and technology, test ideas through proofs of concept and turn valuable opportunities into scalable solutions.
Working across underwriting, governance, data, and technology teams, you'll help improve risk selection, platform controls, and underwriting decision-making, while supporting a more connected and automated environment.
Help evolve underwriting through data, automation, and connected technology, while growing your expertise and improving how risk decisions are supported.
What You'll Do:Design and optimise automated underwriting rules and controls across the Vero SME platform.Evaluate external data sources and technology solutions that improve risk assessment and customer validation.Lead proofs of concept, pilots and business cases for automation, artificial intelligence, and alternative data.Partner with technology, data and business teams to deliver API integrations and scalable automation solutions.Translate underwriting needs and governance learnings into practical platform enhancements and business rules.Shape the data and automation roadmap, prioritising initiatives that support portfolio and underwriting priorities.What You'll Bring:Bring at least five years' experience across general insurance, financial services, technology, data, or digital delivery.Apply practical experience in system configuration, data integration, automation, or technology-enabled transformation.Understand underwriting platforms, business rules, integrations, and platform connectivity.Use strong data and automation skills across external data evaluation, API integration,
