Red Robin Kindergarten is an established private long day care centre in Eastwood, caring for children aged approximately 2–5 years.
This is a hands-on leadership position combining Centre Manager and Early Childhood Teacher Preschool Room Leader roles.
You will lead the day-to-day operation of the centre while remaining actively involved as the Early Childhood Teacher and Room Leader in the preschool room.
You will work closely with the Approved Provider and lead an established team of educators, maintaining a happy, protected and well-run service for children, families and staff.Key responsibilitiesLeading and supporting the day-to-day operation of the centreLeading and mentoring the team of educatorsActing as Nominated Supervisor and ensuring regulatory and child-safety requirements are maintainedOverseeing staffing, rosters, ratios and daily operational requirementsOverseeing enrolments and supporting healthy occupancy through positive family relationships, responsive communication and community connectionBuilding positive relationships with children and familiesSupporting staff performance, professional development and continuous improvementLeading the preschool room as Early Childhood Teacher and Room LeaderPlanning and delivering an engaging, play-based preschool program aligned with the EYLFLeading observations, programming, documentation and evaluationSupporting children's transition to schoolMaintaining effective supervision and a safe, welcoming learning environmentWorking closely with the Approved Provider on staffing,



compliance and operational mattersAbout youWe're looking for someone who enjoys both teaching and leadership and wants to play an important role in a smaller service.ACECQA-recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualificationCurrent NSW Working With Children CheckCurrent child protection training and required first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis qualificationsStrong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, National Law and RegulationsExperience as an ECT and Room LeaderLeadership experience as a Centre Director/Manager, Nominated Supervisor or 2IC, or substantial early childhood leadership experience and readiness to take the next stepStrong organisational and communication skillsA warm and professional approach with children, families and educatorsA genuine commitment to child safety and high-quality early childhood educationAbility to speak Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean is highly regardedAbout usRed Robin is privately owned and operated, rather than part of a large corporate group.
