The Role
We're recruiting Registered Midwives for contracts at
Rockhampton Hospital
, a leading regional healthcare facility in Central Queensland. Join a busy maternity service supporting mothers, babies, and families while enjoying Rockhampton's relaxed lifestyle, warm climate, and easy access to the Capricorn Coast.
Contract Details
ASAP – 28 February **** (1 position)
19 November ********* February **** (1 position)
30 November ********* February **** (7 positions)
Hours:
80 hours per fortnight
Roster:
Monday to Friday (Day & Night Shifts), Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and Overtime as required.

Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Minimum 2 years recent midwifery experience
Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not provided)
Ability to work confidently in recent clinical environments
