Our Narangba Transport team is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to take the position of Fleet Allocator.We are looking for a team player to co-ordinate fleet movements and ensure timeslot and residential deliveries are booked in correctly with the relevant retail stores and Distribution Centres.
Time management is a priority and the ability to work under pressure is a must in this position.This role works closely with the Transport Manager and our local drivers to achieve the desired outcome.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Booking in time slots with Distribution Centres and Retail stores.
Booking in residential deliveries with customers.
Ensure all book in times/dates are met.
Working alongside the Allocators to plan the pick up and delivery runs for our local drivers
Liaising directly with our drivers to ensure that customer requirements are communicated
Ensuring quality service is provided to our customers by our fleet at all times.
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE:
Experience in a similar role (planning/scheduling) is preferred.
The ability to be decisive and act at pace.
Comfortable working with computers.
The ability to work in a team environment.
Operational experience and knowledge of the Brisbane Metropolitan and regional areas.
