Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Java J2EE Developer
with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-grade Java applications.
The successful candidate will have strong expertise in
Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL databases, and enterprise application development
, with a proven ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
Develop robust and reusable applications using
Core Java, J2EE, Spring and Spring Boot
.
Design and develop
RESTful APIs and web services
for enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain
microservices-based applications
.
Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
Develop database-driven applications and write efficient
SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations
.
Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs and messaging technologies.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.




Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve application performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
Prepare technical documentation and support implementation and deployment activities.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Technical Skills:
7+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
Robust knowledge of
Core Java
, including OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading.
Strong experience with
J2EE technologies
such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JPA, and JMS.
Strong hands-on experience with
Spring Framework and Spring Boot
.
Experience developing
RESTful APIs and web services
.
Strong understanding of
Microservices architecture
.
Experience with
Hibernate/JPA
.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as
Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
.
Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as
Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
