As a Visitor Services Officer (VSO) with admissions at Werribee Open Range Zoo, you are often the first and last interaction a visitor has with us. Your energy, clarity, and confidence directly shape their day.
This is a front-line, visitor-facing role suited to people with experience in tourism, hospitality, events, high-volume queue management or high-traffic customer service who understand what it means to stay professional, upbeat, and focused. Even when it's busy, hot, loud, or unpredictable.
About the Role:
Visitor Services Officers within admissions play a critical role in delivering efficient, welcoming, and engaging experiences to thousands of visitors each day.
You will:
Greet and assist large volumes of visitors in a friendly, confident manner
Provide clear, accurate information about the zoo, memberships, and campaigns
Promote zoo products and experiences while keeping the visitor experience front and centre
Work closely within a team to manage queues, resolve issues, and keep things moving smoothly
Remain calm, adaptable, and qualified in a dynamic,



outdoor environment

All applicants MUST be available
25th November
for Induction Day, then from
26th November - 6th December
for subsequent training shifts throughout that fortnight
Successful applicants must be able to obtain a
Working with Children's check
and a
National Police Check
This is a seasonalcasualrole with potential for ongoing employment
