SolStak is looking for a Cloud Engineer to architect and deliver cloud-native infrastructureacross sovereign Australian cloud and hybrid environments.
You will enable secure, scalableplatforms for Defence and government mission systems.
What you'll do
Design and implement cloud landing zones, networking and core platform services
Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent tooling
Optimise cost, performance and resilience of cloud workloads
Embed security controls and compliance requirements into cloud architecture
Partner with engineering teams to support migration and modernisation programmes
What we're looking for
Experience with AWS, Azure or sovereign cloud providers in enterprise settings
Strong infrastructure-as-code and scripting capabilities
Pragmatic approach to delivery in regulated environments
Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
Own GitLab instance and home lab setting (highly desirable)
Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
Industry certifications (highly desirable)
