Events Supervisor
to join our team, working across Dapto Leagues Club and The Grange.
This is a varied, hands‐on role combining
event administration and coordination with operational leadership

Working closely with the Sales & Event Manager and our operational teams, you'll help coordinate event requirements from planning through to delivery and close‐out.
No two weeks will look quite the same. One day you could be finalising run sheets and floor plans, following up client details or coordinating requirements with our internal teams. The next, you could be leading a wedding or large event and making sure everything runs to plan.
What You'll Be Doing

Respond to event enquiries and follow up tentative bookings, deposits, payments, booking forms and final event details
Confirm client requirements and ensure agreed details are accurately reflected in event documentation
Communicate event requirements to relevant internal departments and coordinate operational arrangements
Review event plans to confirm timings, layouts, dietary requirements, staffing, supplier access and service expectations
Coordinate room set‐ups, furniture layouts, signage and registration areas
Help maintain high presentation standards across event spaces and event‐related back‐of‐house areas
Coordinate linen, event equipment, stock and cleaning requirements
Support post‐event reporting, reconciliation, payments and event close‐out through relevant reporting system in a timely manner
Leading Events
For allocated larger or more complex events, you'll take the lead on operational delivery from set‐up through to pack‐down. This will generally include events of 100 guests or more, weddings and events considered operationally complex because of their service style, suppliers, production, multiple spaces or risk requirements.
Act as the key operational contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams
Ensure the approved run sheet is followed and key timings are achieved
Brief and direct Event Team Leaders, front‐of‐house, bar, service and set‐up teams
Provide calm, practical leadership and resolve operational issues as they arise

Escalate matters outside the approved event plan or requiring commercial decisions to the Sales & Event Manager or relevant manager
Support a professional, service‐focused and cooperative event culture
What You'll Bring
Previous experience coordinating or supervising events, functions, hospitality operations or a similar environment
A current NSW RSA competency card
Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow‐through
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams
The ability to balance administration, competing deadlines and live event requirements
Calm, practical problem‐solving skills
Confidence leading an event team and providing clear direction
A hands‐on approach and willingness to pitch in wherever required
A strong commitment to venue presentation, guest service, teamwork, safety and compliance
This is a
part‐time position
working across both venues, with up to full time hours available.
The core roster will typically be
Tuesday to Saturday
, with flexibility required when Sunday, Monday or additional after‐hours coverage is needed to meet the event schedule. Flexibility to work across both Dapto Leagues Club and The Grange is essential.
