SolStak is looking for a Software Developer to design, build and maintain secure applicationsfor sovereign Defence and government mission systems.
You will deliver full-stack solutions inaccredited environments with a strong focus on quality, security and operational reliability.
What you'll do
Develop web, API and integration services for mission-critical applications
Write clean, tested code and participate in peer review and CI/CD pipelines
Integrate applications with identity, data and platform services
Follow secure coding practices aligned with government accreditation requirements
Collaborate with architects, DevOps and project teams on end-to-end delivery
What we're looking for
Strong software development experience with modern languages and frameworks
Proficiency with Git, GitLab CI/CD and automated testing practices
Understanding of API design, microservices and secure application architecture
Experience delivering software in enterprise or government contexts
Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
Own GitLab instance and home lab setting (highly desirable)
Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
Industry certifications (highly desirable)
