Senior Manager / Business Services ManagerNear Perth CBD | Up to $150,000 + super | Pathway to Partnershippeople2people is partnering with an established boutique accounting practice in West Perth to recruit an experienced Senior Manager / Business Services Manager.This is a hands-on leadership position for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, developing people and providing practical business advice.The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of private wealth, family and investment client groups while leading a team of local and offshore accountants. For someone with the right capability and ambition, there is a long-term opportunity to progress to Partnership as part of the firm’s succession planning. The Role

- Your key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of large and high-net-worth private client groups
- Acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for clients
- Providing taxation, accounting and commercial business advice
- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
- Remaining hands-on with complex client matters and technical issues
- Leading, mentoring and developing local and offshore accountants
- Managing workflow, deadlines and quality standards across the team
- Working closely with the Partners on client strategy and firm initiatives




- Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients
- Supporting the firm’s growth and succession plans

About You
- You will bring: CA or CPA qualifications
- Strong Australian public practice experience at Manager or Senior Manager level
- Experience managing complex client groups and high-net-worth individuals
- Strong technical knowledge across taxation, accounting and business advisory
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
- Solid communication skills and confidence working with clients and senior stakeholders
- A practical, commercially focused approach to solving problems
- A willingness to remain hands-on, with an interest in progressing towards Partnership
- Experience with Xero and MYOB would be advantageous. A police clearance is required.
