CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced General Foreman / Area Manager for a well-established head contractor delivering a multi-stage residential apartment project on the NSW South Coast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality contract professional to take ownership of a building package, coordinate trades and drive the project through the final stages of construction.
The Chance
- Immediate start on a project with an anticipated 6-month contract
- Based in the Nowra / South Coast region
- Multi-building residential apartment development valued at over $40 million
- Structure complete, with the project progressing through internal fit out, finishes and external works
- Responsible for overseeing one building and coordinating all subcontractors and trades
- Key focus on programme, quality, safety and delivery of finishes
- Potential for ongoing work with a reputable head contractor,
subject to future project requirements and willingness to travel
About You
- Proven experience as a Foreman, Area Manager or Senior Site Supervisor
- Strong background in Class 2 residential construction, ideally apartments
- Experience coordinating multiple trades through fit out and finishing stages
- Knowledge of joinery, tiling, façade cladding and associated finishing works
- Confident managing subcontractors, maintaining programme and upholding quality standards
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Available to commence at short notice
