THE COMPANY

With an annual turnover of $300m+,this well-established National business has a busy forecast and a solid growth strategy which has been successfully implemented in recent years.

They are involved in projects between $5m-$50m for clients in the public and private sectors.

With further expansion and some ley project wins in the Regional Branch we are looking for an experienced HSEQ advisor to help support the project teams ifrom the Regional office and also work closely with the Sydney head office.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Compliance: Travel to various job sites weekly to conduct safety inspections and ensure high compliance standards.
- Systems & Portals: Maintain third-party contractor management portals, including Avetta, Rapid Portal, and CM3.
- Certifications & Audits: Assist in the ongoing upkeep of ISO and OFSC certifications, and support both internal and external HSEQ audits.
- Documentation: Prepare, update, and distribute safety procedures, work instructions, and documentation for tender pre-qualifications.
- Training & Onboarding: Manage the safety onboarding process for all new starters and coordinate annual HSEQ training schedules.
- Committee Administration: Coordinate the WHS Committee by managing calendars,



setting agendas, and recording meeting minutes.
- Reporting: Monitor and generate regular reports on company safety performance and compliance metrics.

Experience & Education

- 5+ years of experience in a similar HSEQ or WHS role (construction-related experience is a major bonus).
- Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience with HSEQ management processes and systems, with a robust preference for Procore and Sign on Site.
- Proficiency with project management and data tools, such as Procore or Excel.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
