Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Costing Officer (Payroll) to join a busy operational team based in Nerang.

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll information for employees and labour hire contractors, maintaining compliance with relevant awards, agreements and legislative requirements. You will also provide support across project costing and general finance activities.

Rate: Circa $51.00 per hour + super
Location: Nerang, Gold Coast
Contract Length: ASAP – 30 June 2027

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and review employee and contractor timesheets, including Daily Dissection Sheets.
- Ensure accurate payment of wages, overtime, allowances and entitlements.
- Monitor outstanding timesheets and follow up on payroll submissions.
- Process leave applications, work schedule changes and substitutions.
- Undertake payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance checks.
- Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits.
- Provide payroll guidance and assistance to employees and management.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable,



procurement and project expense accruals as required.

About You:

- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and timesheet administration.
- Sound understanding of payroll systems, awards, entitlements and timekeeping processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting general finance or project costing activities will be highly regarded.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
