About the Position Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Oral Health Therapist (OHT) to join its specialist orthodontic team on a permanent part-time basis, working Thursday and Friday at $70 per hour.

You'll work closely with an experienced Specialist Orthodontist, receiving ongoing clinical mentorship, professional guidance and virtual support while enjoying autonomy in your daily responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your understanding of orthodontic treatment, gain experience with modern orthodontic systems and strengthen your capabilities within a specialist environment.

Your clinical responsibilities will include:

- Supporting orthodontic treatments, including traditional braces and clear aligner therapy.
- Assisting with orthodontic treatment planning, patient reviews and progress monitoring.
- Performing orthodontic procedures within your skilled scope of practice.
- Providing preventative dental care,



oral hygiene education and personalised patient advice.
- Supporting adolescent and adult patients throughout their orthodontic treatment journeys.
- Collaborating with the Specialist Orthodontist to deliver excellent clinical outcomes.
- Developing positive, lasting patient relationships through high-quality clinical care.

There may also be opportunities to work additional days at nearby general dental practices, allowing you to maintain your broader Oral Health Therapy skills, including adult dental care within your scope of practice.
Key Requirements

- Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist.
- Previous orthodontic experience is highly desirable.
- A genuine interest in orthodontics and ongoing clinical development.
- Confidence working independently with specialist guidance available when required.
- Excellent communication, patient management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards.
- A collaborative, enthusiastic and professional approach to patient care.
- Full Australian working rights, as sponsorship is not available.
