About the position:

Our client is seeking a motivated solicitor to join their dynamic Commercial Litigation team in Mackay, with the option to work from their Brisbane office. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and adaptable working arrangements. You will primarily focus on Commercial Litigation, including building and construction disputes, contract disputes, debt collection, resumptions, planning and environment matters, and real estate law. Additionally, you may support departments like Business Law, Estate Planning, and Commercial and Property.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with clients in person and via telephone to gather instructions and information
- Assist with daily file management and handle own files
- Draft legal documents,



including pre-court, court, and substantive correspondence
- Conduct legal research
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including barristers and experts
- Perform other tasks as required

Key Requirements:

- Current Queensland Practicing Certificate
- 3 years post-admission experience preferred
- Background in litigation with court experience
- Understanding of Queensland legislation and commercial litigation processes
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Drive to achieve targets
