About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a large, well-known business based in Brisbane Northside. They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working within a team currently focused on continuous improvement, compliance and best practice.

About the role: Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader and working in a team environment, your duties will include:

- End-to-end processing of pay runs accurately and on time
- Updating and maintaining employee records and data
- Managing time and attendance systems, pay rules, and leave processing
- Complete preparation of Year End activities and reconciliations
- Award interpretation and ensuring end-to-end payroll compliance
- Responding to customer and employee queries in a timely and skilled manner

About you:





- 2+ years experience in a similar dedicated payroll position
- Proven experience using a large payroll system
- Experience working within medium to high-volume payroll environments
- Strong experience with Award interpretation
- High level of attention to detail and strong numerical skills
