About the Position Our client is seeking a friendly and experienced Oral Health Therapist (OHT) to join its specialist orthodontic team on a part-time basis, working Thursday and Friday at $70 per hour.

With just two rostered days each week, this position may be particularly appealing to clinicians balancing parenting responsibilities, family commitments or a desire for more personal time.

You'll join an established team with a strong patient base and a positive workplace culture, enjoying a consistent schedule and ongoing qualified support.

Working alongside an experienced Specialist Orthodontist, you'll receive clinical guidance and mentorship while maintaining independence in your day-to-day responsibilities.

Your clinical responsibilities will include:

- Supporting orthodontic treatments, including braces and clear aligner therapy.
- Assisting with orthodontic treatment planning, progress monitoring and patient reviews.
- Performing orthodontic procedures within your professional scope of practice.
- Providing preventative oral healthcare and personalised oral hygiene education.




- Supporting adolescents and adults throughout their orthodontic treatment.
- Building trusting relationships with patients and their families.
- Working closely with the wider orthodontic team to deliver excellent patient care.

For clinicians interested in working additional days, there may also be opportunities at nearby general dental practices to maintain broader Oral Health Therapy skills.
Key Requirements

- Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist.
- Previous orthodontic experience is highly desirable.
- A genuine interest in orthodontics and delivering outstanding patient care.
- Confidence working independently with specialist support available when needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable personality.
- Strong attention to detail and high clinical standards.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team.
- Full Australian working rights, as sponsorship is not available.
