My client is an established CA firm in Sydney CBD and are seeking an experienced Manager to join their team. They are a successful business advisory firm with 20+ staff and have developed a strong reputation in the marketplace demonstrated by a growing client base ranging across SMEs, large consolidated groups, HNW family groups, investments and SMSFs.

Role

Reporting to a highly accomplished Partner, you’ll be working in a compliance and review capacity with exposure to advisory projects. This role will require you to be involved closely with your clients in order to facilitate their compliance requirements and to achieve their business objectives through value-add/advisory services.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Manage and develop strong client relationships across a varied portfolio





- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for all entities

- Provide tax structuring and strategic business advice

- Review Div 7A implications, company accounts and loan repayment calculations

- Prepare tax projections and year-end tax planning strategies

- Manage workflow, productivity and delegation across the team

- Review and mentor junior/intermediate accountants, providing guidance and technical support

Applicants

- Currently working in a Manager or Assistant Manager capacity in an accounting firm

- CA/CPA qualified or upon completion (ideal but not essential)

- Strong accounting systems proficiency and ability to adapt to new ones

- Exposure to SMSF admin would be looked upon favourably

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills due to the client facing nature of role
