About the role

Key Energy is looking for a licensed electrician to join us on a CASUAL basis and assist with a mix of workshop, Sydney-based and regional field work. This position requires travel to regional NSW sites when needed, including occasional overnight or multi-day trips. Regional troubleshooting and service work is an important part of the position.

Key responsibilities

- Building and wiring electrical control cabinets from drawings

- Installing relays and control equipment for hot water, air conditioning and other loads

- Carrying out electrical installation and modification work

- Assisting with fault finding and troubleshooting

- Working with inverters, energy storage systems and control equipment

- Testing and checking completed electrical work

- Travelling to regional NSW sites to investigate and resolve system faults

- Working alongside Key Energy's technical team on specialised systems

About you

- Current NSW electrical licence





- Current driver's licence

- Good electrical fault-finding ability

- Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical drawings

- Experience with switchboards, control panels or electrical cabinets

- Confidence working independently

- Good practical problem-solving skills

- A genuine willingness and ability to travel to regional NSW when required

- Flexibility to stay away overnight or for several days when necessary
