About the role

These are service based roles involving the maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll be involved in servicing, diagnosing and repairing commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms, bottle shop refrigeration systems, glycol refrigeration systems, commercial ice machines, refrigerated display cabinets and other commercial refrigeration equipment. You'll work across a diverse range of commercial sites, from routine preventative maintenance to breakdowns, fault finding and equipment repairs.

Key responsibilities

- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing bottle shop refrigeration systems
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing glycol refrigeration systems
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing commercial ice machines
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing refrigerated display cabinets and other commercial refrigeration equipment
- Performing routine preventative maintenance across commercial sites
- Responding to breakdowns and equipment repairs
- Fault finding and problem solving on refrigeration equipment

About you

- Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic or 2nd year or higher Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice
- Reliable, punctual and take pride in your work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good fault finding,



problem solving and practical skills appropriate to your level of experience
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
- Current manual driver's licence
- Current Construction White Card
- Current CPR/LVR Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Permanent Australian working rights
- Relevant refrigeration and air conditioning trade qualifications (for Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic role)
- Current refrigerant handling licence (for Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic role)
- Previous commercial refrigeration service experience (highly regarded for qualified applicants)
