Brisbane Chinese Language School is an established community school in Brisbane. Our commitment to education goes beyond language learning, helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills and develop a love of learning. We operate weekend classes and holiday programs.

Position Overview

- Teaching English and Maths to upper primary school students

- Preparing teaching materials, or using and improving existing resources

- Marking students’ work and providing feedback

- Saturday afternoon classes at our Indooroopilly campus

- Commence as soon as possible

Classes support local English-speaking students with their school learning. This is not a TESOL position.

Remuneration and Advantages

The successful candidate will receive $85–$95 per hour, depending on experience.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in teaching or a related field are highly regarded

- Classroom teaching experience in Australian primary schools is essential; a minimum of two years’ experience is preferred





- Confident teaching upper primary English and Maths, with strong classroom management skills

- Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
