Join the team at the West Coast Endoscopy Centre as a part-time Medical Administration Assistant. In this role, you will be an integral member of the administrative team, providing critical support to ensure the smooth running of our state-of-the-art medical facility in Joondalup, WA.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors to the Centre
- Liaising with 3rd party medical practices
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records and patient files
- Assisting with insurance claims and billing processes
- Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and inventory
- Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as needed
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management abilities to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in using medical software and computer systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of discretion
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to contribute to excellent patient care
- Previous experience in medical administration desirable
