About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and engaging Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. Working alongside the Lifestyle Coordinator, Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist, you will support the delivery of meaningful lifestyle, wellness and therapy programs that promote residents' independence, wellbeing and quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, encouraging social connection and helping older people remain active and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the delivery of individual and group lifestyle, wellness and therapy activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in meaningful activities
- Foster positive relationships that support residents' emotional and social wellbeing
- Promote resident choice, independence and dignity in all interactions
- Support physiotherapy and occupational therapy programs as directed
- Observe and report changes in resident wellbeing, preferences and participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity records

About You

Essential

- Certificate III/IV Allied Health Assistant or Leisure and Lifestyle
- A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

- Previous experience in aged care, disability services,



community care or a similar environment
- Up-to-date Flu Vaccination highly desirable

Mandatory Requirements

- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian working rights
