About the Role

Jobwire Australia is seeking experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson for an ongoing warehouse opportunity based in Park Ridge.

The role is currently 10am-6pm but is expected to transition to a 1:00pm–9:00pm afternoon shift for the next few months, with the possibility that these hours may continue longer term. The position offers consistent weekday work, with Saturday shifts available and potential for permanency.

Key Duties

- Operating forklifts for loading and unloading as required.

- Picking orders using Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJs)

- Using RF scanners to pick and process orders accurately.

- Breaking down pallets from incoming shipments.

- Performing general warehouse and storeperson duties.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work setting.

Requirements

- Current LF forklift licence – essential.

- Previous forklift operating and warehouse experience.

- Experience using RF scanning systems.

- Experience picking orders using EPJs is highly regarded.

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused, with a strong work ethic.

Hours

- Initially 10am-6pm which will change to - Afternoon shift: 1:00pm–9:00pm, Monday to Friday.

- Saturday work 6am-12pm

- Expected to apply for the next few months, with the possibility of becoming ongoing.

Please note:



The shift arrangement and pay rate are currently being finalised. The advertised rate is approximately $35.00 per hour. If working the 1:00pm–9:00pm afternoon shift, an applicable afternoon shift rate of approximately $39.25 per hour will apply, subject to confirmation.
