Mechanical Fitters & Boielrmakers - Kalgoorlie based
Technical Maintenance Support is an independently owned and operated progressive company based in Geraldton with branches in Perth and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. We conduct a wide variety of specialised services, mostly to fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara.
The Role
We are currently looking for experienced Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join our team for upcoming roster based project work and shutdowns in the Kalgoorlie region. This would suit Kalgoorlie locals.
To be considered a suitable applicant you will require the following-
- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Trade qualifications
- Current white card
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Valid Confined Space and Working at Heights - Within 2 years of completion
- Current Police Clearance - within 12 months
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Experience in mines site environments, fixed plant shutdowns
- Commitment to working safely
- Must be reliable, have a solid work ethic and be physically fit
- Own basic hand tools
Pay Rates for Mechanical Fitters range between $67 to $76 per hour depending on shift.
All successful applicants will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol screen prior to commencing employment.
