About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a growing business based in West End, Brisbane. They are seeking a Payroll & HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours across 4 days).

What's on offer?

- Permanent part-time position (30 hours across 4 days)
- $90,000 - $116,000 FTE (pro rata)
- West End location
- Excellent chance combining end-to-end payroll with HR administration

About the role: Reporting primarily into the Finance Director, your duties will split across payroll and HR administration:

Payroll (Monday & Tuesday):

- End-to-end payroll processing for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Award interpretation covering Road Transport and Distribution Award and NES
- Managing payday super, workers' compensation payments, and payroll tax compliance
- Handling payroll reporting and responding to pay queries via the payroll inbox

HR Administration (Remaining days):

- Preparing employment contracts, contract variations, and offer letters from existing templates
- Onboarding and offboarding in Workday, including new starter set-up and statements of service
- Answering employee and manager queries regarding leave, award entitlements, and terms and conditions




- Maintaining confidential employee records and supporting the HR inbox
- Assisting the HR team with reporting, process improvement, and ongoing projects

About you:

- 2+ years experience in an end-to-end payroll position (ideally multi-state)
- Strong knowledge of award interpretation, superannuation and payroll tax
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
