About the role

You will work closely with the key operations manager supporting across a number of sites in Melbourne. You will manage hands on the day-to-day performance of your portfolio of client sites, conduct regular cleaning inspections, build strong working relationships with cleaners and subcontractors, investigate and resolve complaints, launch and onboard recent client sites, identify opportunities for additional work, and coordinate consumables and equipment requirements across your sites.

Key responsibilities

- Manage hands on the day-to-day performance of your portfolio of client sites.

- Conduct regular cleaning inspections and pick up issues before the client has to raise them.

- Build strong working relationships with cleaners and subcontractors.

- Assist with onboarding and properly inducting and training of new cleaners.

- Coach and retrain cleaners to maintain standards.

- Investigate and resolve complaints.

- Launch and onboard new client sites and supervise their initial cleans.

- Identify opportunities for additional work at existing sites.

- Inspect, scope, estimate and quote periodic services such as carpet cleaning, deep cleans, pressure cleaning and window cleaning.

- Coordinate and supervise approved jobs from quote to completion, making sure they're delivered profitably and to the standard promised.

About you

- Three years supervisory experience in commercial cleaning or facilities services.





- Enough understanding of labour, equipment and time requirements to price smaller jobs accurately.

- Confident dealing with clients, and resolving issues.

- Organised, reliable, and comfortable using systems to track your work.

- Current driver's licence and own vehicle.

- Police check.
