About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to support and grow our Trimble OEM strategy. You will play a critical role in installing, calibrating, and supporting Trimble machine control systems across a wide range of mobile plant and earthmoving equipment.

This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to a trade-qualified qualified who takes pride in delivering high-quality technical solutions, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with cutting-edge technology in the construction sector.

Typical duties will consist of:

- Regular travel to customer sites

- Delivery, installation, commissioning and implementation of Trimble systems on mobile plant and earthmoving equipment, which may include mechanical and/or auto electrical work

- Responsible for the entire installation process including quality assurance of products, third party welding, calibration and commissioning

- Complete administrative tasks relating to installations including service report forms, safety documents, and machine file documentation





- Provide a high level of customer product support

- Demonstrate a consultative and value-add approach to building customer relationships

About you

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Current unrestricted driver's license - essential

- Trade qualification in Auto Mechanical/Electrical or a related field

- Previous experience with machine control systems will be highly regarded

- Superior customer service focus

- An interest in technology, prepared to learn basic geospatial principles
