Working alongside our experienced technicians, you will assist with the servicing, testing and inspection of safety equipment. The role involves both workshop-based and onsite work at customer locations.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with servicing and calibration of gas detection equipment
- Assisting with inspection and maintenance of respiratory, height safety and lifting equipment
- Cleaning, preparing and checking equipment
- Accurately recording equipment details and service results
- Assisting with repairs and replacement parts under supervision
- Working in our Seaford workshop and at customer sites
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
About you
- Holds a current driver's licence — essential
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Enjoys practical work and has an interest in technical equipment
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Can follow instructions and work well within a team
- Has basic computer skills and valuable communication skills
- Is willing and available to work overtime, weekends and away from home when required
