About the role

Elite Cleaning Service SA PTY LTD is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team based in Adelaide, SA 5000. This is a casual position offering flexibility in your work schedule whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As a Casual Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ premises are kept immaculate and well-maintained, contributing directly to client satisfaction and the reputation of our company.

Key responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting of commercial and residential properties

- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens and other facilities to company standards

- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately

- Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces

- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults or maintenance issues

- Follow health and safety protocols and use cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly

- Work efficiently to meet scheduled cleaning timeframes and client expectations

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and any concerns

Must have

- A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle

- A smartphone to access your roster, clock in and out, and submit reports

- Fluent English, spoken and written, including reading. You’ll read safety instructions, checklists and chemical labels.

- The right to work in Australia

- A valid police clearance, or willingness to obtain one

- Availability for 10–20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends

- Reliability and punctuality

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience in cleaning services, either commercial or residential, is highly desirable





- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights

- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour

- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and health and safety procedures (training is provided)
