In his own home caring for a totally disabled 25 year old man alongside his Parents (both retired RN's) and other RN's. You will also be on shift alone at times but no manual handling required, without equipment and a partner. Need to be able to manage complex health needs, administration of medication and insulin. Hold current registration and be able to work with a multidisciplinary Team (eg Physios attend twice weekly). Experience with disability care not essential.
Some regular shifts available currently but more available from time to time. Usual shifts are between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday but some Evening, Weekend and Overnight available at times. Roster of available shifts done well in advance and rarely need to cover shifts at short notice.
